Heya guys, it's my first post here on Static TV's blog and I'm really happy to be here. Would like to send a special thanks out to all the people that make the show happen and asked me if I could come and share some music with you.
By special request though I'm going to do a little shameless self promotion for an upcoming release off our record label Sugarcane Recordings, and also throw in a couple of things from the past. Including a naughty little boot featuring our friends over in Philly, Spankrock.
First and foremost I want to share with you the next release coming up for us from Berlin based trio Jahcoozi. This is the second release we've done with these guys, we absolutely love them. Along with the original we have supporting remixes from some killer names Two Fingers, Oliver $, Plastic Little, and The Loose Cannons. Aside from working with us they have a wicked new album "Murder Us!!" dropping on Ninja Tune the first week in July. Here's a quick little snippet mix of all the remixes on the release put together by our buddy Robot Koch from Jahcoozi.
And, since I'm felling in a great mood today I'm also going to share with you a track off one of our previous releases. It's a slow little electroesque remix of our Style of Eye release done by Phonogenic.
Last but not least is a cheeky little bootleg meant for the club that was floating around a few of the top Dj's bags for a bit. It's a mashup of Swag's remix of Dublex Inc., that was featured on our label, with Spakrock's banger "Bump". Hope you enjoy this special little treat!!
