NOIRC Presents a PTV Showcase

New Orleans Indie Rock Collective is presenting a Park the Van showcase on June 12th. Now if you are living in New Orleans, and listen to music and haven't heard these bands, than where the hell have you been? Seriously...I talk about them all the time. Probably to the point where you stop reading this blog, because you think all I do is kiss Park the Van ass all day. Well it's true, because they, as a label, consistently put out amazing music just about as well as any other label out there. So, if you live in New Orleans, there is no way you can skip out on this show that weekend. It will be four amazing bands (The Peekers, The High Strung, The Generationals, and Floating Action) and at a space that is amazing (The Marigny Theater at 2240 St. Claude Ave). There is no word on price yet, but if this were going on up here in NYC I would pay like $20 to see this line up. Click HERE to RSVP to it on that creepy, stalker site known as Facebook and also remember that half the bands on this lineup will be playing at Memorializer at the Saint this Sunday. Ohh and here are some MP3s for you fiends, including this brand new cover from Floating Action of a classic Beck song!

MP3: Floating Action - Fucking With My Head
MP3: Generationals - Angry Charlie
MP3: The Peekers - Close My Eyes
