New Orleans first all green festival, Project 30-90, is this Saturday with Austin electro, lightshow kings Ghostland Observatory and local rockers Generationals and MyNameIsJohnMichael.

Got a message via the now defunct The City Life's Facebook group or fan page or whatever that their former lead singer (the guy to the left in this photo and the very active kid in MyNameIsJohnMichael), Leo DeJesus, is going solo and will be playing with Blitzen Trapper at One Eyed Jacks on October 4th (also see One Eyed Jacks full Fall line-up). If you were an old fan of The City Life check out Leo's new MySpace, and word is he will be performing some City Life classics at the Jacks show. I am excited to see what he does by himself musically.
