I got my eye on you, Secret Cities

I like to try and bring as much new music as I possibly can. It is hard between having an actual life and work. Luckily for you, I am currently not working.

Secret Cities is out of Fargo. Which I never knew existed till the Cohen brothers film. Maybe that is why the name is so fitting. Good bands that come out of small towns not in cultural hubs like LA or New York always surprise me. I am always expecting them to sound like, ohhh I don't know, Stained or something like that. With a population of almost 200,000 it is amazing to hear the sounds that Secret Cities are putting out.

Their first single off their "debut double A-side digital single," entitled Pink Graffiti pt 1, has vocals that are very subtle and passive over very direct beats and rhythms. The track reminds me a lot of the Antlers, but with less distortion. This single definitely has me wondering what else the city of Fargo has to offer!
