I don't put Remix's up a lot but this one stood out. I believe Alan saw our RJD2 post recently and thought I might be interested in the remix he did of The Shining Path. Here is the original track.
I will have an interview up soon with PANTyRAID where we discuss remixing; but, it is truly a tricky business. Very similar to doing a cover. You want to give the original song justice while still trying to improve on it and giving it your own voice. In my opinion this one does it well. I think the remix that Alan did is far more funkier and something I would like to hear out more then the original.
